Orion Investigations specializes in commercial and business investigations. We do not accept investigations into suspected cases of infidelity or other domestic investigation cases but are able to refer clients who require such private investigation services to private investigators who specialize in such services.

Is there a difference between a private investigator ( PI ) and a commercial investigator? The term ‘private investigator’ or ‘ PI ‘ is used by many people in general conversation to cover the whole investigation business but, in reality, there is a clear distinction between the services offered by a private investigator ( PI ) and the services offered by a commercial investigator. A private investigator ( PI ) will work mostly for individual clients often requiring assistance in ‘matters of the heart’ whereas a commercial investigator will work mostly with corporate clients to assist in matters related to their business’ security and risk management. At Orion, we offer commercial investigation services but not private investigation services.
